Organization

Organization is important because its a way to keep everything in one place and neat, so that in the future if you ever need to go back to something you know exactly where it is and what it is named as. Without organization in web design most of the pages that you want to produce will not work if you say a file is somewhere but really is somewhere else. You need organization to be successful in this web design class. When a link breaks its either because the file you are saying is there, isn't and the computer cant find it. Most of the time a link will break either by erasing the file or moving a file to a different folder.

My First Flash Animation

For this flash animation i first drew a dot on the screen with the brush tool then i used a motion tween between 0 frames and 25 frames to move the ball from one side of the of the screen to the other. Then i used the rectangle tool to draw a rectangle on the screen, then i used the shape tween; in the same place as before, to make the rectangle change its shape at the same time that the dot was moving from one side of the screen to the other. In the beginning at 0 frames and end at 25 frames there are keyframes to show the moving of the shapes.

My Favorite Movie Banner

My initial goals for the page banner was to make it reflect me, i love the font and the color it makes it look feminine and it attracts the attention. I used a pre-made background for my banner that's blue and looks like a quilt. I used a shape that has both blue and pink in it to catch the viewers attention more. Each design was intended for the viewer of my web page to feel attracted and to come back to my website. I hope to improve my banner by making it more attractive to all viewers of my web page, the purpose is for everyone to come back and view my website.

My Name Plate

My name plate represents me because i like the color pink, its very feminine. I myself do not wear the color pink but i overall i like it. The blue letters represent that blue is one of my favorite colors. I chose this font because it is similar to my handwriting and i want my name plate to represent me.

My name is Michelle Zapata and I am a Junior at ITHS. In my web design class I i expect to learn a lot more about making a website, to using various programs to make websites, and i also expect to learn how to use computers better than i do now. I expect that my peers will help me when I need their help, just as I will help them when they are in my need of help. I expect that my teacher will be kind, respectful and helpful when ever i don't understand something during class.
My goals for this class is to learn as much as possible about making websites and learning to use that various programs that involve this. I wish to achieve my goal by working hard and pushing my self to finish everything on time and and to actually learn something from this class. I want to be able to use all this knowledge in the future.

What is Plagiarism?

Plagiarism is when you steal someone else's work with out their permission and claim that its your very own work. Plagiarism is illegal everywhere, in college you will get kicked out.

What is copy right?

Copyright gives the creator of any of his original work a right to own his work exclusively, giving himself credit for his work, before it goes into the public's eyes. It gives its creator full power to create and reproduce its work. A copyright protects the creator's work from other people trying to steal his ideas. When you write or create any piece of work that is your original idea and creation you own the copyright to your work, giving you the choice to reproduce it or keep it to your self, or lend to make another version of your work.

The Web VS. The Internet

The Internet is a connection between all the computers in the world.
The web is a way of accessing, communicating, or transmitting information over the internet.
You can access the web through browsers for example:
Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, etc.
Both the internet and the web aren't the same but they are very close together.
